These data protection provisions describe what personal information is collected from the customer by International-Dating-Portal and how this data is subsequently stored, used and protected. By registering with International-Dating-Portal the customer agrees to these provisions.

Collection of personal information
If you visit a page belonging to International-Dating-Portal (without registration), we record your IP address (series of numbers that clearly identify your computer connection) and other standard information. In order to be able to use our services (i.e. filling out the user profile, uploading pictures, searching for other registered users, contacting other registered users via the internal messaging system) registration is required. During registration, the following personal information will also be collected:

• Profile
• Gender
• Age
• Nationality
• Country of domicile
• Zip code
• City
• Username
• Password
• Email address

The email address is solely for verifying the registered customer and will not be made accessible to other registered members or third parties. The username, in combination with the password, is required to log in to the system. The user also uses the username to identify him/herself to other registered users (Note: Every registered user has a unique username on the portal). The information pertaining to gender, age, nationality, country of domicile, zip code, city will be requested during registration to increase the data quality of the individual user profiles. These entries can, however, be changed in the profile after registration.
After successfully registering, the system will create a new member profile for the customer. After logging in to the system, the customer has the option of completing his/her member profile by selecting the Update Your Profile menu item. There is no obligation to do this. The profile data includes the uploaded images of the users, information about the user and information about the person being searched for and is visible to all registered users, but not to unregistered persons. Since neither the customer’s real name nor address can be stored on International-Dating-Portal, the customer always remains anonymous. If the customer uses the internal messaging system (Mailbox) to contact another registered users (recipient), it is the customer's responsibility to decide what personal information he/she shares. Both when sending and receiving messages, the customer only appears under his/her username and thus remains completely anonymous.
In order to use certain paid services (subscription), payment must be made by credit card. The credit card data is encoded using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) and transmitted to PayPal for processing. If the customer wants to renew a subscription, the credit card information must be re-entered as it is not stored by International-Dating-Portal.

International-Dating-Portal ensures that all data with which we are entrusted is never made accessible to third parties. An exception to this rule is stripe.com as certain basic information has to be transmitted to stripe.com for online payments via credit card. The data protection provisions from stripe.com and not those from International-Dating-Portal apply for entries made by the customer on the stripe.com pages.

Reviewing and changing the stored data
Via the View Your Profile menu item, the customer always has the option of reviewing which profile data is stored and visible to other registered users. Via the Update Your Profile menu item, the customer can change all of the profile data, with the exception of the username (i.e. photos, information about the user, information about the partner sought, email, password).

Deleting the stored data
Via the Update Your Profile - About me menu item, the customer can always autonomously request the deletion of the user profile created during registration (click on the link Delete account and user profile). Immediately after this action, the respective profile will be deleted by the system. This means, on the one hand, that the respective customer can no longer log in to the system using his/her username and password and, on the other, that the profile data (photos, information about the user, information about the person sought) is no longer accessible to other registered users. After the profile is deleted, the customer must re-register if he/she wants to become a customer of International-Dating-Portal again.

Protection of personal data
International-Dating-Portal makes all reasonable efforts to technically secure its customer's data (for instance from hacker attacks). However, the customer's profile data is always accessible via the Internet if the username corresponds with the respective password. It is the sole responsibility of the customer to select a password during registration that is difficult to guess and always keep it secret.

Web Analysis
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses so-called cookies, text files which are stored on your computer and which enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google's behalf. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. By using this website, you agree to the processing of the data collected about you by Google in the manner described above and for the aforementioned purpose.
